As a cultural enthusiast with a keen eye for detail and a love for Vietnamese heritage, I recently checked into Dai Viet for a much-needed retreat. While the language barrier posed a minor challenge, the attentive staff managed to assist us sufficiently. Unfortunately, the spa was under maintenance during our stay, but the alternative offered wasn't quite our preference.Pricing at approximately 600k for a twin room was reasonable, and the room itself exuded comfort and cleanliness. The location, though convenient near the main square and away from the hustle of the train station, didn't quite encapsulate the tranquility expected for a leisurely getaway.Despite the glamorous facade, functionality and comfort lacked finesse compared to my previous sojourns in other locations. The security presence and proximity to a Co-op Supermarket were pluses, though.
